Living Stones

Morena everyone. Today the Church celebrates the Dedication of the Lateran Basilica which is the Pope's Cathedral in Rome. Let us hold Pope Leo n prayer this week given his huge responsibility in leading and guiding us as the Church. He is such an important spiritual and moral voice in our world today. May Christ inspire and sustain him in his ministry as our shepherd and the same too for our local bishops.

St Paul in the 1 Corinthians 3:9-11, 16-17 today speaks of us being God's building and that Jesus is the foundation. I am reminded of St Peter's image calling us living stones. Each of us matters and each of us makes a contribution in building up the Church of God. You may like to listen to one of my songs from the album Serenity which picks up something of this reality.
