The Season of Creation runs annually from September 1st to October 4th. This ecumenical celebration calls for Christians worldwide to unite in prayer and action for the protection of God's creation. The 2025 theme is "Peace with Creation", with a message of action, prayer, change, and reconciliation with creation and the Creator.

Below is the Scriptural focus from Isaiah for this year and several other thoughts and prayers you may like to pray and reflect on . I have included an early song from my album, 'There is no distance,' called, 'Be Mindful.' track 8 ( listen to the song by clicking on the title and link)

The chorus of the song is as follows:

There's a dance our bodies long to dance, there's a song our voices long to sing, there's a dream our planets dreaming of. Sing and dance her dream upon the earth.

“For the palace will be forsaken, the populous city deserted; the hill and the watchtower will become desert forever, the joy of wild asses, a pasture for flocks. Until a spirit from on high is poured out on us, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,  and the fruitful field is deemed a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness abide in the fruitful field. The effect of righteousness will be peace,  and the result of righteousness, quietness, and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation,  in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” Isaiah 32:14-18

“Future generations will never forgive us if we miss the opportunity to protect our common home. We have inherited a garden; we must not leave a desert for our children.” (Pope Francis and other Church leaders)

Prayer for our earth

All-powerful God, you are present in the whole

universe

and in the smallest of your creatures.

You embrace with your tenderness all that exists.

Pour out upon us the power of your love,

that we may protect life and beauty.

Fill us with peace, that we may live

as brothers and sisters, harming no one.

O God of the poor,

help us to rescue the abandoned and forgotten of

this earth,

so precious in your eyes.

Bring healing to our lives,

that we may protect the world and not prey on it,

that we may sow beauty, not pollution and

destruction.

Touch the hearts

of those who look only for gain

at the expense of the poor and the earth.

Teach us to discover the worth of each thing,

to be filled with awe and contemplation,

to recognize that we are profoundly united

with every creature

as we journey towards your infinite light.

We thank you for being with us each day.

Encourage us, we pray, in our struggle

for justice, love and peace.

Pope Francis, Laudato Si’, 2015.

Blessings on your week.
