Jesus warned his disciples about seeking notoriety, position and power over others.
Instead he encouraged them to be servants to one another and expresses one of the most important lines in Scripture, 'For the Son of Man himself did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.' May Jesus continue to inspire our acts of service towards others.
'It's not all about me!'

Love is prepared to do great things.
Let others fly and spread their wings
Sacrifice their own desires
That’s what love is prepared to do
Put others first and stand beside as a
tower of strength and a mountain guide
Give tender hearts the time to grow
That’s how love is prepared you know
When hope seems lost, and each door is closed
When lives are hurt and their sorrow shows
Love is prepared and compassion flows like a river
Like a river
Love is prepared to be there and more
Face the challenges that life has in store
Never give up or run away
That’s what love is prepared to do
Love understands when the heart’s afraid
And always forgives when mistakes are made
Love will endure when all else will fade
That’s what love is, that’s what love is
When hope seems lost, and each door is closed
When lives are hurt and their sorrow shows
Love is prepared and compassion flows like a river
Like a river
Blessings on your week.
