In this further Easter story from Luke this time, the disciples joy is described as being so great that they still could not believe it, and stood there dumbfounded........I see the faces of parents witnessing their child being baptized, young couples committing themselves in marriage, families at the airport greeting loved ones, families celebrating significant milestones.
The song I have chosen for you this week is one of my favourite songs to sing.
It celebrates the goodness and humanity shared by ordinary and faith filled people in the simple conversations we share. People who witness to the joy of Easter in their lives and share it generously. May we be grateful and inspired to do the same.
We celebrate the gift of who Christ is in our lives. We celebrate the life he shares with us, the source of our joy.
